The Event: A 200 kilometer staged ultra trail marathon starting in Ranau, the site of the end of the death march to Sandakan in remembrance of the thousands of Malaysians and Allied Prisoners of War who perished on the infamous death march route and throughout the period of occupation throughout North Borneo. As Malaysia's first 200k ultra marathon, the event will highlight and identify historical aspects of the route during official briefings as well as give an insight to competitors as to the significance of the route throughout the 5 days of competition.

This is an extreme event and competitors must have the physical conditioning to cope with the extreme distance of this event. This is not a race for novice or new runners. The object of this event is to complete the entire race course covering 200 kilometers from the foothills of Mount Kinabalu to the marshlands of Sandakan in Malaysia's toughest foot-race ultra marathon over 5 days.

Qualifying Criteria:

-Successfully completed a mininum of 10 marathons under 5:00 hours or a minimum of 3 x 100k ultra's in the last 24 months.
