Sabah Adventure Challenge is South East Asia's oldest established multi-day adventure race since 1998 from dawn to dusk in the heart of North Borneo in which endurance and adventure athletes will compete in either the Adventure or Extreme categories over a race course covering 150 Kilometers..  The 2010 race begins on the 2nd April 2010 till the 4th April 2010 with teams of two or three mountain biking, orienteering, paddling, tubing and trekking from check point to check point along the highlands of Tambunan, in the heart of Sabah with rolling hills, glorious views of Mount Kinabalu and Mount Trusmadi as well as an opportunity to explore the native villages and highlands of North Borneo. Competitors will be bunked in at local villages and have an opportunity to not only meet fellow competitors aspiring for adventure but also an opportunity to discover a part of Borneo, few have the opportunity to visit. Teams will also be challenged with the difficult terrain and challenging race course the race directors have put together once again for the 11th year running for those who are keen on taking up the challenge of yet another Sabah Adventure Challenge. The Sabah Adventure Challenge begins on the 2nd April 2010 at 3:00am at Tambunan Village Resort with a night orienteering section on foot before teams proceed on several activities that will see them finishing back at Tambunan Village Resort possibly before, during or just after lunch time. The Sabah Adventure Challenge kicks off on the 3rd and 4th April 2010 at 8:00 am from Tambunan Village Resort with teams navigating their way along the rugged hills surrounding Tambunan to villages where activities will be carried out including tire tubing, orienteering on foot as well as Mountain Biking. The 2010 Sabah Adventure Challenge will see 60 teams from a multitude of countries coming to Sabah to compete from dawn to dusk and attempting to complete each day's race course in the shortest period of time to claim the RM20,000.00 prize purse available for this year's event.
